Greetings from Maryland.
This site looks like its right up my alley.. mm yeahh, right there.
I love learning about plants, specifically hot peppers. This will be my 3rd season really into growing( meaning buying seeds and starting my own,) and maybe 9th overall. Nothing like hands on learning. Started when I was 18 with very little money but a lot of passion, now in my mid 20's I have more moola to pour into my love(My -now- second love of PC Gaming/Building got all my spare money before as well. Bowling didnt help save any either. ) I only recently started documenting my seasons, but very poorly at that. I feel now that I know more, I have more time to spend in documenting as I dont need to research as much. So this year has so far been pretty good on the documenting. I hope starting a Glog will help me even more.
I plan to get into making hot sauces this year, but we will see if I get around to that. I tend to use dried peppers a lot more. I dry mostly all of my peppers. I have a terrible stomach so eating whole hot peppers isnt always the best thing for me to do. But they definitely make me feel better if I dont go overboard, and I do notice my tolerance building with the sprinkles of superhots on my samichs for work. Doughlah has been my favorite of this year, but the Red Hot Carribean had that honor for the last few years.
I also started brewing my own beer with a friend which has been a good learning process. I plan to grow to brew.
Cheers!
