In the three years that I have been a THP member I have been showered with kindness. Over this time I have collecred a great number of seeds. I would like to share and truely make your day.

I am a poet and have a book "The Talking Cookie Jar" that I have sold over 100 copies of (hobby).

I would like to see you write.

Post an original "Pepper poem".

I was walking through the garden on a whim...
 
Took up that late afternoon sun warmed pepper by the stem..
 
A couple bites was all it took for my face to steam and my mouth to cook.
 
Thought to myself what the hell did I just do...
 
How could this be the result of a pepper I grew...
 
The rush hit me like no other I'd found and I knew I'd be growing more by the pound.
 
Peppers it seems are a recurring delight for such a fiend as me
 
Glad to have found a safe haven like THP

Always generous and always caring,
Chiliheads are the lords of sharing.
 
Sometimes it's seeds, others it's wisdom,
There's hardly ever a pepper schism.
 
Though darker days will seldom fall,
Some nights threaten to consume us all.
 
Filled with Primos, Reapers and peppery cries,
Where battles are fought and dignity dies.
 
Though life goes on and the cycle repeated,
Good deeds and good folk are never defeated.
 
So when one thinks of which song must be sung,
Remember that it's kindness from which legends are sprung.   
 
Never doubt that Chiliheads are some of the best,
To know one is great, but to be one makes you twice blessed.

IMPRESSIVE GUYS


KEEP THEM COMING
 
I grow peppers for their heat,

I dry, then powder, then eat.

While my grow space is cramped and quite small,

I still worry, and stress for them all.

My days are filled with the thought,

Of was that the best one I bought.

Should I add a Fatalli, a Maruga or Thai,

I love the burn, the sweat, the cry.

Over all I must say that THP made me this way.
