Greetings all!!
We are in Northern NJ and have seen devastation surrounding us everyday from the storm. We have had no power since Monday, getting gas is insane; people are getting into fist fights at the gas station, people are waiting in lines at gas stations that are empty waiting for the drop off. Personally, we are safe and our home is safe. We got off lucky in that we just don't have power (so we're cold as $h!t and no TV) but those are "high class" problems. Others lost their lives, their homes, and all their possessions. We are grateful that we have everything we need to be happy in life.
To get to the point, Hoboken NJ was hit bad. Johnny and I decided that we would donate what we could to bring on-site cooked hot meals to those that need it. A lot of people have been asking us how they can help in some way contibute to the relief effort so here is our solution:
We will be setting up our commercial coal grill handing out FREE food in Hoboken. We were able to get a good amount of supplies but there is no way we will be able to touch even a significant segment of those that need help. If you would like to help please donate. IT IS OUR PROMISE THAT EVERY CENT DONATED WILL BE USED DIRECTLY AND ONLY TO PURCHASE FOOD to be handed out for FREE.
Here's the link and pass it on if you know anyone that may be interested in giving their support. Every dollar counts!
