hydroponic Hydroponic peppers: over fertilizing or calcium deficiency?? Help!

Hi folks,
 
I'm a new hydroponic pepper grower, and I'm using 2 Aerogardens to grow peppers (one using Aerogrow's standard nutrients, and another using the Flora series from general hydroponics.) It's also worth mentioning that I use Reverse Osmosis water, which is at around 95 PPM out of the tap.
 
Lately, I've been noticing my plans across the board slowing down to a halt, and all new foliage is light green, leaning towards yellow/brown - also getting some brown spots in older leaves (I can try to post pictures if it's more helpful!!)
 
I've done some research, and I'm confused if it's nutrient burn, or if it's a calcium deficiency (or maybe something else.)
 
Can someone please help???

I just lifted the hood up - the roots look fine and pretty healthy to me. One of the plants' roots aren't very developed... This is the only thing I was able to notice. Otherwise, the roots seem fine.
 
How much root is in the water? It is possible that there is too much root in the water
I'm not familiar with hydroponics but anaerobic medium curls leaves up like that

lek: You were actually right! I decided to take a better look at the plants, and I found white bugs on all their leaves! I thought maybe it was Aphids - but they look too small for aphids, and I can only find them on the top of the leaves (not the bottom.)
 
In any case, I've just sprayed them with insecticidal soap, and hopefully this will be enough to kill the infestation off!

great job!!  finally you can find the root cause of the problem.   :party:
plz monitor the plant closely.  if you still see white bugs, you can use high pressure misting nozzle to deal with them.

the result is great.  just plain tap water, no other chemical needed.  it's safe!

Great. I acually took them out of the hydroponic system, and gave them a good run under the water in the sink, and rubbed their leaves well.
 
Just a question: What kind of insects you think I'm dealing with? Theyre white, and EXTREMELY small.. to the point that you can barely see them. The only reason I noticed them was because some we moving very very slowly.

They could be thrips or some kind of mites.
