hydroponic Hydroponic Waste Water disposal

Hey y'all

Was looking for some advice.

I was considering moving one of my habanero peppers to a 5-gallon bucket Kratky setup just to see if hydro would be worth investing in.

My question is what do you guys do with the waste water when you flush the system? I have a dog and there are plenty of cats that move through my yard so I'm not sure I want to use it to water things in my yard.

Also is a 5-gallon bucket way to big for a habanero?

not sure about wastewater. but 5gal should work fine.
my 5 Gal Kratky pepper plants use a lot of water. I let it get kind of low before switching nutrients and buckets

I am still learning
but every three weeks I like to start fresh nutrients. i usually don't have much to empty but what I do goes into my yard
it's all sand here. my grass is doing a little better
