I could use a favor on two kinds of seeds ...

I thought I had some seeds that I cannot find ...

It's left me w/ a minor dilemna ...

I need a thai, and chocolate fatalii (sp?) ...

I have seeds saved for thai, but they are the seeds from Hirt's Super Chili (it grew fine, but I think I'd rather not have to type their name on my posts, for fear it could make people think to buy from them inadvertently) ...

My choc. fatalii seeds I retained from Baker's SFRB a while back ... they were great, but see above - I don't want to create drama ...

Can anyone spare 3 ea of a thai, and either choc. fatalii (or I could grow a trio of scotch bonnet in this spot and be excited about that, too)? ...
i have red scotch bonnet seeds from sustainable seed company i could send you!

have since picked up MoA seeds, and a couple of others - and have a MoA plug from juanitos, and a bonnet variant coming from CCN, also ...

thanks for thinking of me, though!

cheers!

Glad I didn't mail your seeds before seeing this. Have added several Thai, Fatalii, and Naga varieties.

When you fire those Mystery Citrus seeds my way, if you should happen to have a couple of Mystery Wine seeds, I wouldn't mind seeing what all the fuss is about.

Can't have hot oriental food without a thai or bird pepper or 2.
Jerked chicken without  scotch bonnetts?
Mex without an ancho?

And how many things do you put paprika on?

I've done my chase to the top of the scovies and now exploring the almost infinate variety of other flavors.

Of course, I have Black Naga, SB7J, and Bubble Gum 7 in my grow for 2015, but they aren't the majority.
I'm in complete agreement. I got my first ripe Dong Xuan Viet Market today and it's one of the best peppers I've ever eaten.

THX for mentioning this! Gets me fired up, I have four of them going. I couldn't find much info on flavor, but I trust your palette. From the pics I've seen it seems to throw multiple shapes on one plant.

If yours turn out anything like the ones I've gotten so far, you're going to love it. Super mild heat, even for a baccatum, somewhere around a Brazilian Starfish, with a flavor that reminds me of a glabriusculum. The pods are pretty thick-fleshed, juicy, and kind of on the soft side. Unfortunately, I've had a lot of them go mushy and fall off the plant before ripening, probably due to overwatering but April in Miami doesn't leave me much choice. Overall, though, it's really worth growing.

I've seen almost no variation in the pods. If you want to grow out a few from a different source to compare, PM me an address. I've got some other cool stuff you might want to check out anyway.

I have a feeling the origin of mine lead back to you. I got them from Frankie (aka Devil created pods. The only other possibility is Slizarius but pretty sure it was Frankie) in a trade.

Hahaha! Yeah, I'm pretty sure I sent them to both of them. Good guys, and a sure fire way to get new germplasm out into everyone's hands.

I haven't seen anything about them on THP yet. Has no one else grown these yet? Totally worthwhile variety.
