Last winter I had just 2 peppers grow from this plant. Both went from green, to orange, to red. This year I've got about 20 peppers growing on it. All have been green for 2 months. 2 have started turning purple/brown. Flowers are white with purple centers.

Was a variety of peppers that had been withered away to just seeds. Should be a high scoville pepper however, as the mix had included reapers, scorpions, and 7-pot varieties.

Update: Based on flavor, scoville number, and pepper shape, I believe that this is a cross between Jalapeno and Trinidad Scorpion.

Look like cross between Jalapeno and Habanero or even Jalapeno Ghost. Interesting.

Looks like an off-pheno Peter Pepper.

You've grown a brown peter. Let us know how big it is when it's fully ripened.

Peppers have begun ripening. Here are some of the peppers I have cut. Scovilles are beginning to surpass ghost pepper levels.
