I fell in love with Angelo

So when doing seed shopping last year, I had my cart at semillas.de loaded with the good stuff. I had everything I wanted, and then some. Lemon Drop, Brazilian Starfish, Pimenta da Neyde, you name it. When it was time to check out, I saw I was just short of getting free shipping. I decided to look through the list, and pick one that looked nice. I decided on the Aji Angelo, and man I was not disappointed. This is a very vigorous plant, shooting for the stars and pumping out pods like there's no tomorrow. The pods have a very nice uniform shape, and should ripen to a beautiful red. I don't have any ripe pods now, but it shouldn't take too long anymore. 
 
Did any of you grow this plant? And if so, what did you think about it? I haven't seen them much in any grow log, so I thought I'd make a topic on it.  I'll see if I can manage to post some pictures.
 
I'm also thinking of crossing it with something, but I'm not sure what yet. I was thinking of the Aji Amarillo (beautiful big flowers with a lot of petals), or maybe something crazy like Pimenta da Neyde.
 
It's my first time growing them and I haven't had any ripe ones yet, but I noticed a slight color change in one of them today. Hopefully I'll be able to tell you more about the taste soon! I'll go make some pictures when I go water my plants later in the day. It's so damn hot right now.. 38.8 degrees C (101.8 F for those on the other side of the pond). Not going out of the house until it cools down a bit  :fireball:
 
This is the best I can do right now. I have two more in a bigger pot, together with two Aji Amarillos. Had to do it due to space constraints. Next season they are def getting their own dedicated space.

Angelo are wonderfully prolific, and mine didn't get as bushy as my other baccatum.
They are fine peppers, but IMO the flavor it not all that unique - a typical bacca "WTF is that?  It's tasty!", combined with the typical moderate bacca heat that Goldilocks would likely choose.  ;)  
 
This is my second year growing them. I love the sweet, low/moderate heat to eat right off the plant("What wonderful peppers you have,my dear!").
 
Cool plants. I love semillas.de, got so many good seeds from that site for this season. I'll have to check them out for next season, the only aji Im growing is aji habanero. 
 
Forgot about this thread for a bit. Geonerd is right about the taste, nothing special but still pretty good. The heat is medium to hot, eatable right off the plant. I think if it were to be crossed with something like a Lemon Drop and selected on Angelo vigor and Lemon Drop taste, it could be a great plant.

I've been thinking about trying a Bishop's Hat hybrid next year. This might be one to keep in mind. What does the BH taste like? I've never grown it before but I love the shape.

Sweet (but not overwhelmingly so), with an unusual 'berry' like flavor.  Very little heat.  Big, bushy, prolific.
