I actually had some plants like Kelloggs Breakfast, Neves Azorian red, and Box Car Willie that produced a little more than 35 lbs per plant.

We use a post hole digger to make a 12" x 4' hole to plant each plant in. Fill each hole with homemade compost, water with rainwater / well water, and never "sucker" the plants. :)
 
We never prune the plants or remove the new growth from where the branch meets the stem (the axils).

Some people do, some don't. My experince shows that I MAY get slightly smaller fruits but I get enough more of them that it more than makes up for it.

The $8 per 4 pack of the 90 minute is way WAY better!!!!
I bought cases of Bells Hopslam this year.... pure heaven!

We are growing our own organic hops this year to brew our own DIPA!
