How many days?

cant realy say since i have changed the conditions it was in. first i just put it outside uncovered and watered it every time it needed it but then i seen all these germenation chambers so i decided to do the same. about a 4 or so days ago i covered it and put it under a light but i think i planted it around 1.5 weeks ago? well i got another set of seeds going in a small tub with a lid i started yesterday will see how long it takes to pop them.

oh is a incancesant 60w lightbulb to hot to put like 2'' away from the seedling when it fully pops?

IMO the incandescent light bulb will produce enough heat but won't provide the light spectrum the seedlings need...search the site for light spectrum...there are many many threads discussing this subject in detail.....lots of detail..

I would be afraid that an incandescent bulb would cook the plants. It might be safe with good air circulation, but the bulb will get so hot that I can't hold one with my bare hand.

I kind of miss looking for tiny hooks several times a day and the joy of finding a new one! For me that's more exiting than new flowers and tiny pods forming for some reason. 6 months until planting...

ah i will most likely have to get a higher wattage CFL bulb for that little lamp im useing. (dont have anything else atm) oh and would LED lights work also?

well i jsut bought a 45w CFL (200w equivelent) 3K lumens. im sure that would be good enough for quite a while. soon going to need a timer though.

edit oh i think another one poped.
