I just found fresh Manzanos here at a local Supermercado the other day 
I bought all of the nicer looking ones 
I cleaned them, then Pureed them in the Magic Bullet, then Vacuum sealed and froze them. (will use for adding to various sauces and dips)
* Manzano Puree'd with Cream cheese and the heat kicked up with a dash of Yellow 7 pot powder is one of my go-to sandwhich spreads (only becauase I can't find fresh Red Rocotos to make this with)
I've seen plenty of Fresno's @ a few places here as well.
