I was pondering....

If you were to plant 1 orange manzano seed and 1 orange bell seed together and both were to sprout and you dont remove one, would it be possible for them to cross-pollinate and get a hybrid?

No. Orange Manzano belongs to the Capsicum pubescens family and C. pubescens does not cross with other Capsicum species (with the exception of a couple of the "wild" species).

The Capsicum Crossability Matrix at the bottom of this guide here shows what species can and can't cross.

Even if they were compatible you would still need a pollinator like a bee to move pollen from one plant's flower to the other

Stick a Peter between them and it'll help the transfer, act as a PB- aka pollen bridge. For information on PBs go to the www.peppercon.com
