I'm Back At It 2018

Well, it's been a while. I hope everyone is doing well. I am getting a little bit of a late start BUT I am determined to have a GREAT growing season. With many thanks to a few members from last year, I have a nice array of seeds that will be hitting the dirt tonight or tomorrow. So, this is the boring part of the year. I hope everyone enjoys my 2nd log on this sweet forum. Luv ya all, good luck with your grow this year. And if I can be of any service, please let me know.

Recap from last year:
Variable year with some hiccups. I had a move in the middle of the season and it put a heck of a hinder on my grow, but it ended pretty well with about 7 or 8 lbs of various peppers. Had to pull most of them prematurely as they did not ripen on the plant before the frost. I began last season with 3 main plants in mind, Trinidad morugas, readers and ghosts. It ended up with a few others scattered in there. So in conclusion, it was a very successful first year.

Fast forward to this year:
As stated before, I am not focusing on any single pepper this year, I have 28 seed varieties that will be hopefully maturing into fruitful plants. This is not including the other veggies and herbs that will be in the mix. These are 28 varieties that were sent to me from a few very generous members.

So, with a little help from some reserve seeds I have. (and by a little i mean I owe this years grow to a few very generous people from this site, Mlittle and WickedMike being 2 of them) I have 28 species of hot peppers going, and a few other veggies and herbs to accompany them in the garden. I hope this year I can reconnect with some of the same folks from last year, as well as make some new friends in this great community. Without any further A due, Here is the 2018 List:

Most of these have 2 starting cells, 2 seeds per cell. I mixed 8 qt starting mix with 2 qt Perilite, Made it nice and airy like last years potting soil. seemed to work wonders for root structure, hoping it will start them off just as well.

You getting a plan together for getting those chilli's mature towards the end of the season? Overwinter? 
 
I'm putting up some hoop houses (cold frames) to hopefully buy me a couple extra weeks at the end of the year.

Depending if I end up closing on a house that I put an offer in on a few weeks ago. If I get the house, I will have a large indoor grow as it has a HUGE barn, but we will see how that goes. If not, I'll be overwintering a few, cropping some back. I may try to dwarf a couple this year.
