You cannot take the site down. We love that site!
There don't have to be regular updates. The information that's on there is still valid and valuable. When I started growing a couple of months ago I read your site from beginning to end. And the database is still _the_ database. There's nothing like it. You might have given birth to thechileman.org a long time ago, but you cannot just abandon your child because there's a new one coming on...
