Important Question: Please help!

You could always take the glass off. I used a 600w non-cooled MH, and aside from it being too much power for brand new seedlings, it didn't push THAT much heat. I was in an enclosed tent and had a fan going. If you can find a cheap CFM, then that would be ideal.
 
I'm running a 400w air cooled xL wing reflector hood, it is just air cooled. So as long as you put fans on your plants everything should be fine
