indoor Indoor Pepper Grow

Looking into buying an indoor tent (gorilla grow tent) to grow my peppers year round. Ive seen ballast that have a MH and HPS setting; what is the difference in the 2? If i get a ballast that can support MH and HPS will i need 2 different reflectors and bulbs? Also, what purpose does the ducting serve on these indoor light setups? Lots of beginner questions but i want to do this right the first time and enjoy my investment going forward, any advice would be appreciated.

Mh is for growth 4500k-7000k+
Hps is for blossom/fruiting stage usually around 2500k
You only need one hood. Usually the ballasts will support both the mh and hps bulbs. You just have to know what you want/need for your grow, also some ballasts are dimmable so you can increase or reduce the wattage accordingly
 
The ducting is for ventilation. You don't need to use it for growing peppers, but you must have a fan running in the tent to provide air circulation.
