First off, I have no relationship with Fillmore Container except as a guy that buys his bottles from them and the only benefit I will receive is a better price for 1.7oz bottles then currently available online.

I have been bugging them to get 1.7 fl. oz. bottles(mini liquor bottles) for awhile now. They do sell them now but only special order by the skid (5376 bottles). I have convinced them to consider selling by the case(96 bottles).
They are giving me the needed info to poll here for interest. As I will be linking them to it they will be seeing suggestions, so feel free to speak up. These are glass bottles.
$32.64 per case(96 bottles) for less than a pallet ($0.34 per bottle)
$0.075 per cap.
Total bottle with lid cost = 41.5 cents. To be sold by the case of 96 which comes to $39.84 before shipping. Specialty bottles wants 55.68 for 96 with lids before shipping.

That is enough bottles to bottle up 163.2 fluid ounces of sauce.

I am posting this to help gauge interest.

I am ready to get 2 or 3 cases if they start selling by the case.
I know some people on here make some wicked hot little bottles of sauce/liquid fire and these would be great for that. Also thinking they would be good for powders too.

Any interest????????

EDIT: Added the cost of caps

Will the caps have liners? I think I was told to get Lined caps. Will they offer an insert for the bottle? What about shrink bands?

I would be interrested in starting with at least one bottle and cap case combo, to see how they do.

Liners, yes. Not sure about dripper inserts, but at that bottle size I doubt they would be needed. Looking into shrink wraps.

You know... maybe it's just my mood today, but why is there a "NO Case" category? Isn't the objective to show that there IS interest, as oposed to those who don't know, don't care and don't or won't make a sauce anyway?

I work for a company that imports shrink bands, I am the purchasing mgr. Glad I saw this post, was looking in to bottles myself. I want to make sauces later down the line when I have tons of peppers.

Don't know our min order qty's but I'm sure if you send an inquiry someone can help you.

Well Done Justaguy

If I ever have too much fresh peppers and weave my way through all the Government Agencies and Rules and Regulations and Requirements then I may think about selling some salsa/fermented/peppers in a jar. If I do so then those little bottles look darn good for bottling. :woohoo:

Balac :drunk:

Thanks for the link. I ordered my 5 oz bottles from them a few months back. Should have looked into these at the same time. My wife is interested in the candle making supplies - might have some of these added to the order.
