afaik those are hybrid and saving seed won't do much good.

Charles is trying to say that if you grow seeds from a variety that is a hybrid subsequent generations can be unpredictable. You may get something similar to the original but different traits may be expressed.

I thought I have seen both hybrid and OP cultivars of "yummy" peppers available through different commercial seed catalogs. Maybe I wasn't paying attention or the company forgot to mention they are a hybrid? totallytomato.com usually specifies which seeds are hybrid and which are not, and they do not mention this one being a hybrid.
