Interesting surprise at Kensington Market (Toronto)

Earlier today I was at Kensington Market looking for blue grapes since my usual source on the Danforth didn't have them. As I was browsing the fruit venders, I noticed two startling surprises in the fruit and veggie containers outside...

Chocolate Habaneros and Fatalii Peppers (mostly yellow; some reds)!!!!!

It certainly is a nice change from the typical Scotch Bonnets and Habaneros in town, although I once did get a scorpion of some sort from No Frill's Scotch Bonnet bin (it was least Naga-level and I ate it rather quickly... yikes).

Unfortunately, great things often come with a catch. Aside from the fact that most fresh produce at Kensington is a bit expensive, the Chocs and Fataliis were RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. I doubt they would ever sell out, yet they were priced between 50cents - 75cents a piece! WTF?!...

Anyway, I still bought myself a few. I plan to grow Fataliis from the seeds, mwahaha.
