Is Culling Really Necessary?

Well, thanks for the update.
They look healthy even though each one has about 4 leaves? lol
I am not considering doing this myself.
I just can't bring myself to cull any either.
 
Yes, they are very healthy, for sure.  I'm not planning to prune any more leaves, from this point, forward.

I'm not going to make this a habitual practice.  But the Aji Amarillo is one of my favorite peppers, and I know their growth habit suits it well.  So, I wanted to make maximal use of space, and maybe make a Bonchi out of it, later. 
.
This was just fun.  In the future, I will be more inclined to abrade the stems, and get them to graft.
