Is there no hope for this seedling?

I found this guy buried deep and brought it up. It's much longer than when I put it in, but it's cotyledons are yellow and look wrinkly. Is there any chance for salvation? I'm only growing about four plants this year (if the last one sprouts), so it's kind of a big deal. Thank you so much!http://i.imgur.com/bwIOqYc.jpg

The only thing I worry about is the poor shape of the cotyledons. Should I not have brought it above the soil and let it do it by itself?

It`s yellow because it wasn`t getting any light, so you did the right thing to bring it up out of the soil. I don`t see why it wouldn`t survive, but you`ll obviously find out pretty soon. Hopefully, the cotyledons will turn green.
