I have that one and it's worked well for me - no complaints!
I usually trust in a product on Amazon with at least a 4 star rating with 100+ reviews. That model is 4.5 stars with over 2500 reviews. I think you are set!
all dehydrators are good........until they quit working and i don't think anyone has cornered the market on the best dehydrator - at least from the scores of reviews that i have read. my guess is, if you have good, clean power it should last a long time.

Every Nesco dehydrator I've seen/read about/had, is awesome, and it's definitely worth if if you pull the trigger and get one 
I bought the one under the Cabela's brand name on sale a few years back. Same model but Cabela's sells it as "Open Country".

I like it a lot, but I wish it had 2 features:
On/Off switch, you have to unplug it.
A timer, you have to use a separate timer.
Other than that it works great.

got 2 nesco's myself , had them 3 years now and they run 24/7 for a good month or more every year .
