I was wondering if the following is a good soil mix for peppers and if I need to add fertilizer at any time? I have 34 pepper starts planted in this soil in 5 gallon containers. Also, each plant gets about six and a half hours of direct sunlight a day (I live in Sonoma County, California) Is this enough light for healthy growth/decent yield?
Here are the soil contents:
"Organic Nursery contains:Organic Horse Compost 1/8- red lava sand, 5/16- crushed red lava rock, 1/4-fir bark, Oyster shell flour, Blood meal, Bone meal, Kelp meal, Azomite® and Soil Sulfur."
I have:
Thai Peppers
Habanero-Savina
Manzano
Serrano
Jalapeno
Chinese 5 color
Bulgarian carrot
Long thin cayenne
Black Hungarian
Vietnamese multicolor
Thai red chilli
Beaver damn
Sweet Carmen
Filiius Blue
Thank you for your help!
