pests Is this an aphid?

I have some other winged aphids but none look like this. Is it something else?

Looks like a leaf hopper to me. I see them a lot, and have no clue whether they do damage to chiles. I always chase them off just in case.

I am leaning towards this being a leafhopper also. After a quick google search it doesn't appear that it will harm any plants.

Thanks.....they are pretty cool. Every time I went to take a pic or look at it it would go around to the opposite side of the branch to hide.

Kill them.(good luck trying to catch them...)
They do the same thing as aphids, suck plant juicees.
They also drill holes in the stems to lay eggs in.
They spread plant diseases from plant to plant like aphids do too.

Hmmm.

This is indeed troubling.

Somehow aphis have acquired 'stealth fighter' technology.

This is an Aphid... Notice the long skinny legs, they are very slow and when threatened will not run away but drop off the plant.

It did look exactly like a stealth only shiny black instead of flat. It does look like a slice of cake too. Pretty cool looking.
