i have these mice, that i'm trying to kill, that are making paths under the mulch, i'm suspecting they are eating some of my plants, earlier i had a missing sunflower (when it was little) now, i have a dying pineapple tomatillo plant next to a suspicious hole leading under the mulch.
i was putting mouse poison blocks within their holes and along the retaining wall (where i've seen them scurrying) but apparently they aren't harmed much...:/ i will look into that glue trap
I've never seen mouse damage but it looks like it might be slugs or snails. Last year I had slugs and snails devastating my tomatillo plants, cutting them in half in a night. I had to start patrolling and killing them every night at 11. That mulch is a good hiding place for slugs, snails, and pill pugs during the day.
