Jalapenos Turning Black

What gives?  I've harvested almost all my jalapenos & those that remain seem to be doing fine...except for two, which each have a black side to them (same side, relative to the sun).  I don't think they're gettin burned as most of the others have had this same exposure & they're perfectly fine.  I've not had any others this season that did this & about 100 peppers have been harvested so far.  I'll shoot a photo tonight & post it.

Yes, normal - it's basically a suntan. Jalapenos tend to turn black, yellow varieties purple in the sun. The Jalapeno will still turn to red when ripe, but the black part will remain black. It's not a problem.
