I transplanted the jalapeño to a drier part of the garden. Has been one day and it's condition has been static, but still continues to produce buds...? http://imgur.com/IOXArnc
Now it's just a waiting game. It may lose all the leaves, be too late in the season to get enough new leaf growth to support new pods, but on the plus side jalapenos are small, fast growing pods. Buds will probably be aborted till there are new leaves and I wouldn't water it much till then.
