Another beautiful pepper from Vincent. What a great change of pace to eat something only around Jalapeño hot, too. Beautiful pepper with a really great flavour. Like the best yellow bell pepper ever, times 10, with a bit of heat. Awesome pepper.

Only been able to try one of these so far, but loved it. Definitely on the grow list for next year.

They are great peppers, aren't they. I grew them this year thinking they were SB peppers because that was what the vendor said they were. My initial disappointment was quickly replaced because of this good tasting annum. It is on my grow list next year too, only more than one plant.  
 
Another good point is that my wife who can't tolerate anything hotter than a jalapeno really enjoys these too.

grew um last year and i found them to be OK, but only because i love chinense's and baccatum's
however you did bring to mind the pear flavor and yes your right they do taste like that
