JayT's Pepper Porn '10

I just realized that I have yet to post a single pic of my plants. I am still hardening them off and getting ready to transplant into bigger pots (at least for the ones I am keeping). I am selling 50-60 of these to my buddy who has the hot sauce store. Pictured are. from the left to right, Naga Morich, Dorset Naga, Bhut Jolokia, Fatalii, Scorpion, Yellow 7-Pot, Red 7-Pot, Caribbean Red, Red Savina, Devil's Tongue, and BikerBilly Jalapenos. Anyway, here they are:

Nice Jay. Can I put a dibs on a dozen T-Scorp and Jolokia pods?

Of course you can.

JayT,

Nice bunch of plants you have there.

What do you propose to do with the harvest?

NJA

Burn people. :onfire:

Actually, I plan to save seeds, make a few sauces, dry some pods and make powder, make some infused oils and vodkas, and puree the rest for later use.

Been wondering if you were growing plants this year JayT, thanks for answering that question.

When did you get these going? How long is your growing season? I really hope you have time for them to produce. If I'm successful this year and you need any heat for yourself I'll be more than happy to share with you.

Burn people, great answer.

I got started a lot later than I wanted to. It was the middle of March before a sowed seeds. My growing season is the middle of May-around Oct 1. Although last year I was still picking pods almost to Halloween. Even though I am starting late, they will be fine. I would say I am about two weeks behind on plant out so they will have plenty of time to produce. I usually have pods by the end of July.
