Heading up to Cape Cod tomorrow with the family for the week. My buddy's already up there, sending me pics of the food truck menus at the beach, haha. That Jerk chicken taco's got my name all over it. So does the "BANGIN' MEXICAN STREET CORN." Can't wait for some great lobster rolls too!

Then, headed further north to Boston for the day on Saturday. For their birthdays, I got my 2 boys tickets to a Julian Edelman (from the New England Patriots) football clinic. They get to run around on the field with him, get pictures with him, etc.

Gotta give my plants a good soaking tomorrow morning before we leave since they won't be watered for like 5 days (unless it rains)
 
Watering some things daily and others every other day as its been 100 + for the last couple of weeks. Harvesting tomatoes daily and it looks like I will be making some milder red sauce from ripe serrano's and jalapenos this weekend. I have garlic and onion from the garden that will be going into the sauce. :)
 
I've been making a quart of fresh pesto sauce every weekend lately from my 4 basil plants in my raised bed with the shade cloth. Everything in that 8x4 bed is growing like crazy. I've seen the largest leaves on any peppers plants I've grown in the bed this season. Several plants have leaves larger than my hand.
 
Waiting on a several more 7 Pots to turn so i can make a small test batch of sauce. This plant didn't get the memo its a late producer.
 
Get my drivers license renewed
 
Buy a couple new ProLine pans and a tiny slow cooker for sauces...Something i can set out in the garage so the fumes dont kill me. Habs and hotter send me into sneezing fits.
 
Finish replacing the 2 shelves in my antique pie safe. Just need to stain and seal them now.
 
Oops. almost forgot im nearly out of vape juice.
 
 
 
Gonna be laid up in bed and completely lit on painkillers all week, but unable to actually enjoy it.  Boooo. :(
 
Cancer's back, so my plans all got derailed.  Skipping chemo this time since we caught it early and going straight in for surgery first thing tomorrow.  In between girls again at the moment, so I spent this evening teaching some neighbors how to tend all of my plants while I am gone.  I think they'll do okay.  Everything I have is pretty heavily podded up and a lot of them are just starting to ripen.  Might have someone pack and send some SFRB to a few folks so things don't go to waste while I am out of commission.
 
Currently stuffing my face with a bunch of Trinidad Perfume while killing a couple Bell's Expedition Stouts, because no food after midnight.  (Surgeons are really paranoid about gremlins, you know.)  Speak to you guys soon.  Keep it hot!  :)

Wow, Slug. I'm really sorry to hear that, man. You sound like you're in good spirits, and I really hope everything goes well for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and thoughts and prayers to you and your family, brother!

I planted beets and cilantro. Tying up my squash and cukes, which are going wild. Bagged a bunch of peppers so I can save seed.
 
Repotting my carnivorous plants, clearing out our extra room and shopping for indoor grow equipment to overwinter peppers and start a few others and expand my carnivorous collection.

Bought a SunForce LED solar patio light with a motion sensor....Charged the batteries and just need to install it
 
Still need to figure out how to make a 7 Pot sauce without the agony.
