Just a Rookie Trying to get started

Everyone starting out has to do Superhots. So do a couple of those. Personally, I love Caribbean Reds for heat but they are about one third the Scoville scale of Superhots. Big deal. I love the flavor and they are hot! Me, I highly recommend you try some Numex peppers - give Big Jim a try. Very good. When I started doing this 25 years ago, I grew some of each major variety. Do a Superhot, a Numex variety like Big Jim, and do a Caribbean Red. You'll branch out from there.
