Do you have the ability to bring them in to finish in the fall? You could always start a few, and then overwinter them and have a huge head start for next year as well...
Ah, that particular variety is that it is pretty fast. We have a "growdown" going on right now with those plants. We all started our seeds on Feb 15th and I think most of the plants already have flowers and a few pods on them. If you plant them now, you should see pods before the end of August. They also do really well as houseplants or office plants, they only need a window or a small lamp to produce indoors. The prik kee nu in my office is under a 26W CFL with no windows and still puts out about 10 pods a week.
