Thanks PaulG! Good luck to you as well my friend!

I'm going to try to be diligent this year about using the Glog feature of this site. I didn't discover it until the end of last season. I'm still somewhat of a newbie to this site. I'm excited to be part of the site and the awesome pepper community though!

There is a lot on this forum, for sure. I have
been on it for 8-9 years, and just discovered
the 'Pepper People are the Best' thread this
year! And it was started in 2012!

Some other vegetables tossed in there randomly too. But this will do as a glog

Looking good, K-dude! Growing right along.

That's a real mondo de pimiento!

They are planted a bit close, but with grow space as an issue, I went for planting more variety over fewer plants but greater harvest quantity. Plus I'm the only one in the family that eats them, so I'll just be happy that my wife gave me this much growing space for them.

Beds look awesome, and plants really filling out!

It would be cool if you labeled your photos.
Just sayin'  ;)

Keep up the good work!

I have always been a fan of raised beds in the garden. Aside from the advantages for the plants, I find it easier to organise the garden with raised beds.

In Europe, I used a narrow type of concrete blocks to make the beds. This has two additional advantages: they don't rot (compared to wood), and the soil temperature is somewhat higher with stone. There are disadvantages as well, of course: stone is more permanent and more costly in the short term. I also had raised beds of recycled cobblestones. The image below is such a raised bed I made for someone who afterwards didn't care anymore ( :censored:). In those beds, I sometimes left out a stone and planted a herb or lavender, to mimic the effect of a plant growing out of the rocks.

The "construction" is sturdier than it looks

Noted. I will try harder from here on out. I tried to go back and add it, but I guess you can't edit your old posts after a certain time period? Anyways, I'll add it to my future ones as best I can. :-)

I actually like the stone ones a lot. Pros and cons like you pointed out, but with the wooden ones I don't like the idea of having to rebuild them every x number of years.

Right, you just have a couple of days to make edits.
Used to be open-ended. I was disappointed when that
feature went away.  I used to like editing my germination
charts instead of reinventing the wheel a bunch of times.

Also, I have learned to just put a pic or two with some
text in each post to avoid wonky posting issues.

Looking forward to seeing more of your grow this season, KD.
