Wife bought me some Southern Comfort with hot peppers. I could not tell the difference between it and regular Southern Comfort. So she asked at the bottle shop if there was something hotter. She came home with Kentucky Sugar Shine. The latest marketing of alcohol in KY is to call things Moon Shine despite being made lawfully. Sometimes they even put it into a mason jar.
True, the stuff has some heat. But it also has a horrible taste. Not a traditional crisp moonshine flavor either. Stuff tastes down right chemical, like a cleaning product might. Punch line, the stuff is only 50 proof. About half what whiskey is. I sip whiskey, so its not that I cant stand high proof stuff. its just that horrible.
