To all the aussies, anyone had any dealings with these guys? Seem to have a few varieties, just dried, fresh and powdered...

BTW:It is to them, I think, that I am so very interested in chilli. About 2yrs ago, I came across some people selling chillis at the Mt Tambo market. I think it was them!. Next time I was there, about 3 months ago, they werent to be seen, so that's when i found THP and all the helpful folks here!

met her at the Byron Bay ChilliFest last year, nice chipotles, bent and I munched on some with a cold beer. her stall was pretty busy most of the time, just ask billyboy... *snicker*snicker*
 
Katrina form lanacoora chillis is the best :), if you ever get the chance to catch her again, youve got to try her Fatalii Mayo, its sensational :onfire:, oh.. and then theres her chipotles in adobe sauce and a mayo one too which is awesome, she is also as far as I know the only chilli company in Australia producing their own smoked jalapenos (chipotles).

She loves her Fataliis, and her plants are huge, the last time I visited her she made me a cup of coffee that was laced with Fatalii powder, wow... what a combo.. delicious

we dipped corn chips (I think) in the chipotles in adobo and they were truly spectacular!

don't know if I could handle Fatalii Coffee though
 
yup bag of cornchips, chipotles in adobo, few chilli stuffed olives & cold beer. Then we hit the sauce stands again lol.

are you getting down to Sawtell Bent? This years sposed to be a cracker. I can't make it but from what I here EVERYONE else will be there.
 
when is it? not that I think I can afford the trip but I'd like to know anyway

if you get there bent, please let me know if The Chilli Factory has their new bhut/naga sauce, and if they do, what it tastes like and how hot it is
 
mmmmmmmmmmmm... I just checked their website. that stuff looks great! it would be nice smeared on a slow cooked lamb leg. I can see an order being placed.
 
Say hello to everyone for me, and buy a beer for Marcel I owe him, i'll fix you up for it natuarally. oh and watch out for the good reverend Neil, he'll be trying to eat whole pods somewere, I wonder if HSC have a stall?

only if there's a video camera around... maybe he could try to organise a chilli eating competition and the local network may cover it... good advertising!
