Leaf problem

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but could anyone shine any light on this leaf problem please. Unfortunately I don't know the history of the plant in detail as a friend gave it to me just a few days ago. It was being fed weak nutrient every other watering, but arrived with me in fine fettle, three days later it is struggling Leaf drops off after a day or two and it is affecting all but new growth at the moment. Sure could be what ajijoe mentioned. More pictures of the whole plant and the soil could make it more easy to figure out what the problem is.
