baccatum Lemondrop Baccatum flower colors.. w/Purple??

I have some Lemondrop this year that have purple tips on the outside of the petals.. Is that typical? I don't recall there being any purple on them last time around.

It is possible but I have rarely ever found that to be the case.

Lemon Drops are very susceptible to sunburn. Though I never had flowers get sunburnt. There are also purple Capsicum Baccatums, so it could be a cross, but that is very unlikely

Not uncommon to see baccatum flowers with purple tips and pistils.
