fertilizer-nutrients Ligh fertilizer watering solution?

Does anyone make batches of water with very little fertilizer that can be used at every watering? I am pH balancing my tap water because it is basic (7.5-8.0), so I've also been adding a bit of seaweed extract and calmag to it (1/10 the reccommended rate). I think I may end up adding another fert to it, but wanted to see if anyone else is doing something similar.

Last year I tried small amounts of fish poop, but that stuff stinks 10 times worse after being set out too long.

Yea some people will mix their nutes half strength and give it to them every watering/feeding. I personally wouldn't but just my opinion.

I have a1 gallon jug mixed full strength and I "cut" it into my plain water to get a specific ppm that I want for my seedlings. I don't feed everytime I water be there are some folks here that do with success. Always check your pH when you mix a fert you are unfamiliar with because some will alter it. Keep an eye out for salt build up too if you are going to force them along.

P.S. Definitely don't use this method with fish emulsion. Use that stuff up when you mix it.

I don't *every* time, but do probably 50-60% of the time. I used to fertilize a LOT less, but realized quickly that my plants (all potted) needed it. I now do about 25% strength, give or take, at least every other watering. I still don't get the results that others here do, but my plants look WAY better than they used to. Good luck with it. Would love to hear if you hit a sweet spot. I generally use a kelp/fish fert, a drop or two of a synthetic and a pinch of mycorrhizal powder.

Checking pH is something new I'm going to keep an eye on this year. And you're right on about the fish emulsion - only had to make that mistake once, especially while I have the seedlings inside!

That's kind of what I've been doing with my 3 overwinters (white hab, fatalii, Aji Yellow). They were doing fine until recently, but the aphids are having an effect and so is the insecticidal soap I'm using. The NPK for the kelp is really low (0.1,0.1, 1.5), so I wonder if I need to mix in something a little stronger.
