Light bulb question

Hello my father have a light bulb and I want to know if its enough to keep a small amount of plant indoor (and still grow pods)

I assume you know that you need a 400Watt ballast, right?

You will need a way to circulate air and maintain the temperature. These bulbs generate a lot of heat. I tried to run these and a Mh with my setup 2 years ago. Switched them off. Too much electricity consumption and too much heat.

The lamp must be pretty high above the plant if you don't want to burn it.
 
HPS is the most efficient light source you can use.

nice thank you guys! they will be in a greenhouse this winter with temps around -15 Celsius in the garage so the temperature wont get too hot inside the greenhouse
