Little orange buggers!!!

I was given these pods by another member who in turn was given them as a mystery seed package. They are small pods (maybe 3/4" in length) and have a strong citrus flavor. The taste almost reminded me of orange zest. The heat was respectable and kind of snuck up on you. Any thoughts on what these little guys could be?

By the way, that's not my hand...

Wow, that could be it!!! I found another one that is very similar during my research. A pepper called Orange Pekoe (C. annuum) which is very similar to Short Yellow Tabasco (C. frutescens).

I've had Orange Pekoe tea. I doubt they are related. The tea basically tasted like most other teas. No heat though. :(
