Local Nurseries stocking ultra hots now

I've been noticing a lot of nurseries around me have been selling a lot of ultra hots. Well, I have no idea how many they are actually selling, but they're stocking them...

Armstrong has Trinidad Moruga Scorpions, Ghost peppers, and even Carolina Reapers, lol!

This one comes with this cute little guy to guard your plant for you, no need to worry :liar:

Even the OSH down the street has Caribbean Reds, Scotch Bonnets, and plenty others.

I agree, the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion looks terrible and meager compared to the ones I've grown out. And the Reapers are way more susceptible to burning/tanning than my experience. Plus, the stuff at Armstrong seems to be yellowing. OSH's stuff looked healthy though.

I'd guess some of their yearly California Wonder customers will be voicing some complaints after they recover from their first experince a Reaper.

That's what I was thinking, what if someone who doesn't know sees an attractive tag with a cool claim and grows it, realizes how crazy hot it is and gets pissed that they can't use the pods for anything, lol

HAHA, I agree.

Though, the people around here are professional complainers. And pretty lazy! They would probably pay someone to plant it for them.

Well, not all of us that is, some of us are lazy for other reasons...

:high:

But I'll never pay anyone to plant stuff for me, they'd be taking my fun and my money! (unless I was, or became, handicapped)

ps: thanks @Juanitos for using this emoticon in another thread, never noticed it before, teehee

I bought from a local nursery one time. The scorpion was lanky and yellow. I cut it back and let it regrow. Turned into a beautiful plant with tasty peppers.
