Look what followed the wife home

It's a habanero, my first one ever. It's kinda sickly but I don't think nuttin some seaweed spray can't fix. Let the addiction begin. :woohoo:

Su-WEET! you know, once one is in the house, more will follow.....!!!!!!

PS-
consider a day trip, more good stuff on the other side of the hill....

Wow, that will be some project, but I've seen worse plants come back. It's probably in some kind of messy, waterlogged, over fertilized soil. Get it into some nice potting mix and make sure it gets plenty of drainage.

According to the wife it was the last one left. Whatcha gonna do? Plus I welcome the challenge to nurse this one back to health. Maybe I can apply for some of that free gov't health care that's going around.

Feel Lucky !! My wife goes joggin' and stray dogs come home with her !! I'd rather have a pepper plant ..... I cut her lengths of rope so she can tie them up at the signs on the corners. After all .... more than likely they live in that hood.

Give that plant some TLC and it'll bounce back I'm sure.

Peace,
P. Dreadie

So I quickly figured out what is ailing this Hab. Last night I put it on a glass table as it was chilly last night. Under the pot I left a folded up paper towel cuz the wife is anal about dirt in the house etc. Well this morning when I went to move it to a window sill both sides of the paper towel were wet. So the nursery/store have been overwatering the poor thing and that's why it looks so bad. :banghead:

when you transplant, get rid of all the bad leaves. give it a heavy pruning on the lower area. it does wonders. i tried it with one of my habs from the flower shop, and it shot up really fast; ended up doing it with my three plants just because of how better the pruned plant reacted.
