Looking for a mild pepper variety similar to cherry hot

Hi,
a few years ago a friend gave me some red peppers which looked similar to marconi sweet red pepper, or those bull type long pepper (corno de toro, etc).

i thought they were sweet up until i tasted them. to my surprise, they were spicy and very good. unfortunately, he didn't know what they were called..

does anyone know of a pepper that are similar to the marconi/long red peppers but are on the mild/spicy side? the heat level i would say like cherry hot which are hot but also slighly sweet and great when pickled.. they had a similar thick skin too.

if anyone has some seeds they'd like to trade of something similar, let me know. i don't have a lot of hot peppers to trade, since i tend to only like mild pepper. but i do have a bunch of good tomato varieties to trade, if interested. hopefully you people like and grow tomatoes too ;)

thanks.

any of these perhaps ?

chileplants.com has a pretty dang big selection of peppers from mild to superhot

i just changed search parameters to mild, and >5 inches.

as you can see there are lots of peppers that fit the shape and description you gave.
maybe you will recognize the pepper you have in mind.

+1 on Anaheim or New Mexican.   One of the tastiest and mild spiced I ever grew was TMR15 IIRC.  It's an Anaheim/New Mexican type.  Just not as big as a MARCONI...(which is currently one of my favorite I use in cooking stews, spaghettis, etc..)   Too dam bad HARVY beat the hell out of my Marconi crop this year.

Woops, sorry for drifting off....LLOOLL

Hmm, they appear to be like Anaheim which has thick wall (or a tad less than a marconi/bull pepper)

i found this variety called Anaheim NuMex Joe E Parker which is suppose to be like the Anaheim variety, but a slightly more thick wall..

it looks like a great pepper, got few packets on order of:

Anaheim NuMex Joe E Parker
Hot Anaheim Chili Pepper
Beaver Dam Pepper

thanks pepper lords.
