food-bev Looking for candy/sweet food recipies.

Exactly what it says on the title. I tend to need a lot of sugar in order to function correctly, so anyone got any ideas on stuff like rock candy or chocolate bars? I have a few, but have a few hundred peppers that need using, and regular meals aren't enough.

Chocolate peanuts clusters recipes are easy to find. I add pepper powder. The same with peanut brittle.

I'm gonna make a test batch of those things. Half with cinnamon in them, half without.
 
Also, I'm gonna try this ancient Egyptian recipe where they baked honey with chunks of fruit inside.

And don't be a fool - keep the resulting syrup, especially if it's from candying baccatuums. Hot chile syrup over pancakes, brownies, ice cream, plain on a spoon….. YUM! DaQatz also has a candied chiles recipe on here but I didn't find it in a short search. His version keeps them soft. Both are excellent!

It looks kinda like brittle usually, but is not quite as solid. Not safe to eat in large amounts. I'll get around to making it within the next week or so.
