wanted Looking For Lavendar & Pumkin Seeds

Lavender is an excellent bee, and butterfly, plant!  It's kind of hard to start lavender from seed.  There is a technique, something like the seeds have to be frozen for 2 weeks or something?  Most people just buy starts.  I think some do cuttings also.

Mine usually bloom enough for harvest in mid-July.  I'd have seeds later in July/august, if you still need some then, send me a PM.

Perfect I'm trying to looking any plant seeds that attract bees/butterflys to the garden. I'm interested salsalady & is lavendar perrinial?

which other plants are bee/butterfly attractants?

Lavender is a perennial.  It grows best if (after the 3rd year) you cut the flower stalks back by about 1/3rd.  You can use those stalks for whatever, make wands, pot pourri, whatever....but by cutting it back it keeps the plant in a nice round trimmed shape.  Trimming is not necessary, just makes it look really nice.

There's probably websites (Sunset Magazine?) that have lists of floral perennials that grow well in your region.  Have Fun!

What kind of Lavender are you after?

English Lavender: Most popular, medicinal, Cosmetic (aromatherapy), and Culinary.

French Lavender: not too fragrant, used mostly for decorations.

Spanish Lavender: Good choice for humid climates and is a favorite of bees.
Not a good Culinary Lavender, but probably the most attractive of the three in your garden.
