Hi, my name's Christian, I live in Orem, Utah, and I'm trying to up my game when it comes to spicy foods. Lately what I've been doing is just putting some habañero sauce by Yucateco and swishing it around my mouth. I've been looking to find an effective place to purchase spices like say crushed habanero peppers, or maybe something slightly less insane for my mouth as I get started. Crushed red pepper flakes are definitely very easy to consume these days, and the piquin chili seeds I got from Penzey spices are a serious pain in the ass to use because I have to pinch pods open with my fingers just to release the seed flakes.

Welcome.  You're just in time, because everything in the northern hemisphere is starting to pod up.  Best way to determine what you might like is to buy one of the flat rate sampler boxes of fresh peppers from folks here on the forums.  I know Sicman has some varieties available for mixed boxes as we speak:  http://sicmanshotpeppersandpowders.com/

Welcome!  :dance: I'd definitely recommend a box of fresh peppers from a member on here. AJ Drew, sicman, and TexasHotPeppers are highly recommended.
