I dont know what it costs, I got some free but the stuff works great for making different size cages for plants or even use it for a fence to allow cucumbers to climb on it. make sure you have a very good wire cutter!

as for the eye-saver I would like to suggest old tennisballs that can find in secondhand shops, or even just lying in your house doing nothing. Just put a hole in it and you place it on top of your cane. You can use the same technique if you would like to put nettings over your plants (strawberries,...) or the chickenhouse (with all those birdsdiseases currently)...
