Low Stress training

Dam bro that sounds like my luck...sorry to hear you lost all them plants  i wish you luck in the buckets ... i had somewhat of the same problems this year but my late start in pots has brightend my days...NEVER SAY " FU@!! IT I QUIT "

Ever! There is no quit in the search for the flaming donut.

The losses suck, but that's a very interesting experiment you're doing. Not much is to be found about the effects of low-stress training on plants other than cannabis; doing a Web search on "low-stress training" is sure to fire back endless weed growing articles and forums. Not that I'm against marijuana, but I think the effects of LST on it are very well documented by now--besides, it doesn't help me, because I'd rather not get caught growing the stuff. It's interesting to see how it can be used with capsicum plants and how it affects their growth and fruit production.

[Off-topic note: I'm in full support of legalizing cannabis completely (especially to those who are mature enough to be able to use it with common sense) in a way similar to alcohol and tobacco--two legal drugs that are much more dangerous. You can grow your own tobacco and brew your own beer, but only use/buy them at a certain age (unless with parental supervision in some states). I just think that age should be 18, not 21, the legal age for alcohol is just dumb. Hell, I would buy and occasionally smoke weed if I could, and probably try growing it if the government didn't smack it with such ridiculous, outrageous penalties...]

Back on topic though... did you ever post images of your monster Aji Lemon plants? They'd be cool to see, it sounds like they really went wild.

am i doing low stress training correct?

Check out this LST! This is from when I was indoor and I used this technique with other crops in the past to increase yield and promote better use of vertical space and you're on point.. It's a great way to go, not to mention a badass way to start your bonchi! All my Jpens and quite a few Chinese like reapers and such in the ground have had same treatment when they was Lil guys as well and hella yield in p/sq. Inch!
