Man VS Food

PROOF......(sorta)

A non spicy co-worker overheard me discussing the 7 pot with somebody at work, and he says..."HAVE YOU SEEN THAT SHOW MAN VS FOOD!!!" in reference to our spicy talk.

This noob even remembered the "ghost chili" and seemed intrigued by the spicy sushi.

HAI!!!

I remember the ghost chili thing to because one of my step kids said "He even ate something called a ghost chili, he was sweating more than you do even" and thats when I acknowledged that the "ghost chili" is also know as the Naga Jolokia (or is it the Bhut?) which I have told them many times I am growing (which I later found out the seeds I got are no such thing).

the bhut and naga are much different, although mis-represented as being the same. I'm growing the Naga Jolokia (SC1) and it's nowhere in the same league. The name game confuses things. The "ghost chili" is the Bhut. Possibly you're growing the strain of "Naga Jolokia" that I am.

I dont think I have any Nagas, hasnt been confirmed yet and the rate they are going i dont think ill have any fruits let a lone any ripe ones to know if I do have any Nagas going right now:( And now since I had very few seeds to start with I need to find more now.

Okay, I've recreated the Four Horsemen burger at home and I've posted about it. Just click on my blog link below to see if I was able to eat the whole thing...

Straight up awesome Scott! Love your blog and report looooong time! I think you duped the burger pretty close if not a skosh hotter. While myself having not eaten a bhut, that burger doesn't scare me.

Salute', TB.

Just watched the Sarasota one. Get those wings Sickmont! Some of that food looked disgusting. Who would eat a loaf of bread with Philly steak, burgers, chicken fingers, mozz stix, fries, peppers, onions, and cheeses?????????!

Reread the name of that cafe and think about it......:high::lol:

I've seen folks eat that stuff there before. PLENTY of times, btw.

When I heard him say the wings had the ghost chili, I knew he was beat. Habanero's are one thing, and he's beat those challenges. But dude made the sauce with ghost chili EXTRACT for the wings, and not a light amount, and not to mention the sauce already had a whole bunch of Hab's in it. Soon as I saw that guy pour in what must have been about a table spoon, I knew adam was D O N E. Later, the entire area around his mouth was lit up soooo red it was actually maroon. This guy was in pain, he drank milk, he was rubbing ice all over his face, he was pounding the wall with his fist and ended up going into the walk in fridge. Poor dude.

Yeah those wings were totally brutal. You could tell that but just looking at them. There is only 1 person on this board that should even attempt that.

I'll tell you what though. I've sobered up there a couple of times(because theyre the only ones open until 4:20am here) and once or twice i was so trashed when i was there that those sandwiches actually looked seriously appetizing.

Well??????? did you eat one?

I would eat that stuff as well, but only a smaller version (as opposed to the 18-inch or however long bread they used). Of course, I would add some chiles or hot sauce to it. :)

Not that I was out to prove anything, but for naysayers, I think this conversation proves the show is at least worth watching.

I think there are plenty here who could finish the wings. I like to think I could.

I cut up a whole hab and mix it in my spaghetti noodles before adding sauce (the fam doesn't do it that hot) and that isn't a spicy meal.

My mexican cooking involves 7 POTS or 7 POT powder. I'll put that up against the ghost chili anytime.

I'd like a go at those wings!;)

My problem is the fact its an extract. I'm not going to try to prove something to somebody and wind up with serious stomach cramps and/or vomiting from it. Thats just not worth it to me.
