glog Marturos 2025 Glog.

Hello everyone, welcome to my 2025 Glog.
2024 was a great year for peppers we grew many new varieties with great tasting pods.

2025 is looking good so far we just got the seeds planted & on the heating mats.
A little later than last season however with LEDs we needed to start the plants later.
Last season the plants were a little root bound by plant out..

I'd have to do a taste test first, haven't eaten any bonnet this year yet 🙄. Luckily I have one ripening now, a WHP II which I never tried before... 🙂
Forget that one... I picked it from the plant and opened it up, and the inside was bad so I discarded it. That's usually the case with early pods...
But I have already found a couple others turning color 🙂 but they may need another week to fully ripen.

This is the shape of my Chombos.

yeah, these look quite similar to mine (mine are grown in pots and are smaller)

I will have seeds to share from this Chombo.

I'm in! We'll talk at the end of the season about a swap 🙂

Ok! I'm sorry, I'm still happy for you that they've finally started to change color

Antep Aci Dolma.
2nd year growing these & it never fails to please, a sweet bell pepper with the heat of a jalapeño.
This is the perfect pepper for grilling, stuffing, & just fresh eating. No need to roast before using.

Those are really nice looking goats and very high yielding. I’ve been wanting to grow them for years but have been unsure about who to get them from. Could you tell me where you got these seeds from please ?. The Chombo looks very impressive indeed and I like your bonnets over the other one.

Aji Chombo thanks to @Downriver all the way from Panama.
A sweet tropical spicy pepper with a fiery tropical flavor, works well with Jerk & panamanian dishes. it's very :hot:

Those chombo’s are just awesome looking 😍, and what a yield too . Those bonnets are just beautiful and sunny looking. I think that’s one of the reasons why they’re my favourite pepper colour. Yours are pretty consistent in shape to the preferred phenotype characteristics.
